How to make beeswax wraps?

We are lucky enough to have our own beehives, so wax is easier to come by for us. But fear not you can purchase beeswax from my website in different sizes.

Source some 100% cotton material from your local supplier in the design that suits you and to the size that is relevant to you.

Get some baking paper to place on the underside of the material and another piece to cover the top of the material.

Grate the beeswax over the picture side of your material and space it evenly. Place the second piece of backing paper over the grated wax and material.

Make sure your iron is at full temperature and start from the middle and work your way out. Once the wax has melted into the material life the paper to see if you have missed anywhere. If the coverage is not even just grate some more wax over the places that has no wax and repeat the process.

Let the wax dry and there you have it, you have made your own beeswax wrap.
